IX KLA VIER E - is Nick Acorne's piano album, which consists exclusively of recorded and sampled piano sounds. Nick collected the variaty of nine different pianos, recording and / or sampling them. All the sounds of drums, bass, and other sounds on the albums are 100% piano & prepared piano sounds.

Recorded Pianos: Hofmann Mignon, Hofmann, Kawai White, Kawai Red, Legnica, Hyundai, Hellas, Schimmel, Gebrüder Hansmann, Friedrich Kalles, J. Czapka & Sohn, Україна.

Some of the tracks contain piano layers played live by Nick, using his DIY instruments Joystick and Flight Simulator. This way of playing piano sounds made it possible to add electronic sound glitch to some of the recordings.
